Bookbinding Gallery

Last Spring I was comissioned to do some custom bookbinding for the release of Ken Babb's Chapbook, "Lost a Bird, Gained a Bird" through Tsunami Books Press. Babb's book was about some Air Force guys in the Vietnam war so I bound all of the books using bits and pieces from US Army and Air Force coats of that period - blood stains, tags, zippers, rips and all. Some of the patches you see on the books are original from Babb's unit in the Air Force. This was by far some of the most haunted recycled materials I have ever worked with.
