Goddess Patchwork SkirtWow! I love wearing this skirt!! All of my skirts have a wonderful drape to them but this one in particular feels so liquid and swishy to wear - very regal and feminine. This one is loaded with patchwork - two crazy panels on either side of the front applique panel and then one big seminole patchwork ruffle at the bottom. The fabrics: the light brown panels are a medium weight cotton. The black bits are all cordoroy. There's a mix of medium weight cottons and cord in the seminole ruffle. The patchwork is a mixed bag of cord, cotton, heavy brocades and novelty-type fabrics. The goddess is dark brown cordoroy. This is definetly a super deluxe skirt - one of my favorites!

This skirt is made entirely out of recycled hemp except for the strips of wine-colored cotton cordoroy that I thre in there for texture. Two giant mirror-image hemp-leaf appliques snake up either side of this skirt. There's 3 panels of crazy patchwork altogether - one in the center and two on the back side.
This skirt is almost too wonderful to sell. It feels amazing to wear. Heavy enough for winter but the natural fibers make it breathable enough for summer, too.

Purple Mushroom Patchwork Skirt
This
baby is a real crowd-pleaser. I made this skirt using a really
beautiful grape-colored mid-wieght woven linen-type fabric. There
are a total of 4 mushrooms - two on each pocket. The crazy patchy
panels on the front and the back turned out AMAZING. I used some
purple velour in there, a nice liliac quilter's cotton and this really
groovy vintage purple floral pattern. Get this one while it's
still here, ladies!
PS. I forgot - there's some goregous vintage purple lace running along the top of the two pockets. So cute!

love how this bear turned out - one of the most lovable dancing bears
out there, if I do say so myself. ;) The patchwork ruffle

love the way this fairy turned out! She is sitting with her knees
pulled up to her chest and her arms wrapped around her shins, if that
makes any sense. It forms a nice little heart below her face.
Her wings are made of a *sparkle* fall-type print. I alternated a
dark red cordoroy and a beautiful pinky red paisely print for the skirt
panels. I'm really happy the seminole patchwork ruffle on
this one, too - the rich reds and pinks really make for a bold pattern.

whole time I was making this skirt I was thinking *fairies*...not
something with fairies on it but something that a real fairy would

kanga pocket is slightly oversized and features a really awesome
Japanese knot that I embelished with neato lilypad dots. I used
nice green cordoroy and totally decimated my green quilting cotton

went crazy with the seminole piecing on this one, folks. I did a
generous ruffle of purple-on-green all around the hem of this one.
The two sweet, GIANT pockets mean some serious storage for your
